the Ribblesdale coach to Ewood Park
Later in years it was it was steak pudding & veg ,a beer or two in the Golden Cross and then off to Ewood Park

few new shops opened at top end of Union Rd this year Bargains 4U / Hair Spray /printing shop/ Grafix --bringing lot of customers to Union Rd

You should come for holiday and stay with Johnny and Elsie and i bet you would get lost there are so many changes here nothing is the same as when you left and you could meet your old friends that you had you know who i am so we will leave it at that .

Good grief SA I was only trying to remember about the wet fish shop the other day and I couldn't remmber who had it, after Bob retired I'm near sure a chap called Birch took it over can't remember his first name but his brother was a mate of mine, Kevin. and besides the three barbers you named there was also Jim Kershaw who had the shop opposite the Town Hall on the corner of Monarch Street where I was born, his brther Benny had the gents shoe shop next to Moxhams toffee shop, Edwin used to make a mean icecream as well, infact I think the present onwers still make the icecream from his recipe.

How about Moonies the wool shop at the end of Badge Brow. The bottom COOP between Moscow Mill St. and Collier St. Had a great bonfire on Collier St the year it closed. Freemans hardware opposit Town Hall And all the pubs.
