Land behind catlow hall street

Does anyone know if their are any plans to develop the land behind catlow hall street(fmr garages) as the land is an eyesore and lets the area down.

Re: Land behind catlow hall street

If you mean behind the chippy at the bottom of fielding lane, then yes its already owed by builders like yourself, and the heys with the pens etc almost sure it`s green belt. Why dont you try up new lane go and see the vicar he sold off the 2 football pitches there years ago leaving the cricket pitch, and i`am sure that the church can`t be for off a new roof. Other than that i cant think of any land that`s left apart from football pitches over the foxhill. Best thing to do is build some in spain and give me one in exchange for this advice. :engsmil:

Yeah great idea we ossy folk would love to look at cement and mortar rather than fields or orchards, the big field in Rhyddings park would fit a few houses on it.

There's a point, a while back there was talk of the possible sale of some of the land at the back of the park

That land behind the chippy on Catlow Hall Street when i was a little girl used to be allotments and pens and a few garages. Remember when the local lads had one of the allotments and he used it as a base for his trolley run (some may know them as bogies).

Re: Land behind catlow hall street

People don't seem to have the same time these days for allotments and pens, even the ones going over to the heys are becoming overgrown and a shambles
