Don't get your feathers roughled, I was having a drink last night and a bloke who works for HBC just mentioned that not many people turned up, seems a shame when you made such an effort

I was only quoting gayles comments from her meet & greet session, it would still seem there is a slight difference of opinion on this issue.

So you can see over buildings, and round corners (thought I had replied to this one earlier ah well must be my age)
From your mothers you would get a good view of the top of the lighting column, unless of course you were upstairs stood on a chair

Since I know for a fact Mummy has never had you in, it gives me great pleasure to inform you there is a very good view of the playground from the sittingroom, and the view from upstairs is even better.

No chair, or bouncing on the bed needed.

Have they cut all the trees down on that side of the park

No there are what we call 'gaps' between the rhododenrons, giving a clear uninterupted views of the play area.

Re: Meet and greet

???????????????????????

I've no need to lie you plonker.

We can sit on the sofa and see quite clealy the play area. Which I'm pleased to report is now mainly filled with children enjoying the equipment, which they couldn't before when it was under the trees and hidden away, and very often vandalised so there wasn't a single thing for the children to play on.

Since you no longer live near the park, I really don't see what you have such a bee in your bonnet about.

Re: Meet and greet

Your argument may have been better if the photograph had actually been taken from the play area, rather than taken from above it.

I'm not getting into an argument with you about this again, we've been here many times before.

I think the play area is in a much safer, less dark place, and also less prone to vandalism, where the children can play safely in the sunshine. You and some of your friends do not, for whatever reason, though the main argument seems to be that it has spoilt their view, which to me seems rather a selfish reason. The park is for everyone to enjoy.

End of my case. There will be no further discussion from me on this subject.

Who are you calling a plonker, if you are refering to me then please retract the statement.
I do not have a "bee" in my bonnet as you indicate, just interested as to the outcome of the whole thing

Bloomin' Hell, I wasn't going to carry this on. I called you a plonker for trying to make out I was fibbing when you posted that photograph, supposedly showing that we couldn't see the play area.

Don't squirels ever hibernate?

Thought it was a discussion not an argument

Have nothing to say on that score other than "good"
