Re: Roadworks On Mayfield Ave/Catlow Hall Street

At 9.30 today the tarmac laying machine is still sat there and a JCB and the road is full of parked cars. Morning morning job I guess when less cars will need moving. SUnday morning is terrible with all the lazy Church visitors dumping cars all along that stretch because of the 2 churchs close together.

Hmm well would expect the road to be closed while they resurfaced it, unless you have another idea how to do it while the road was still open

No but there were none before. I have seen a few newly laid roads recently that are nothing like flat. I only drove a long the first bit from Rhyddings Street but it looks good so far.

The roads are here are terrible at the moment.

One of the worst must be from Intack Lights down to the McDonalds roundabout.

Perhaps we should send Be down there?

He's our tarmac spotter.

(I wonder if he owns the 'I spy book of tarmac'? I believe the latest version is in colour.)
