May be that post was a little harsh, but when a member of the Co-op staff is carrying on a conversation with another member of staff several yards away, whilst serving you, shows little or no respect for the customer he/she is serving.

It is just my sad sense of humour at work again. I agree about the staff conversations that go on, I have noticed them myself.

Re: The Co-op

I went to the co-op in ossy in january for my pension I know i had no money with me as I had put the change I had left from the previous week into a jar before I left home, I spent £45-62 and should have had £4-38 change... when I called in the butchers on my way home to get some mince meat with the change i found i had none. I did'nt go back as it was pouring down, the next day i called in and told the woman who had served me she said she would tell the manager to do a till check, the next day I went in and saw the manager he knew nothing about it and took my phone number saying he would check the till, the day after he rang and said the tills were correct so i must have had the change...I've never spent a penny in there since and never will again...if your shopping watch your change...better still make sure you get some.

Re: The Co-op

I would never shop there, staff seem more interested in chatting to each other than serving
