Should begging be banned?
We all see them in the streets... Loose change cup in hand, manky dog at feet. It looks a bit of a mess really and to be honest, I'm not right happy about them moving into accringtonweb.
We never used to have a problem with beggars here but it looks like they have managed to get into the virtual accrington website. It's not like we don't have enough trouble with all the drunks in anything goes...
Anyway, should begging be banned or should we just consider it as part of the game? Let me know what you think.

Re: Should begging be banned?
If people are only having pets so they can gamble roy, and then finding they havent enough money left to feed them, they should be banned from the petz section altogether. You have to draw the line somewere why not now.Too many owners not looking after there rodents!

Re: Should begging be banned?
I don't mind donating money to anyone who is struggling in our virtual world, but I would like to think that the money is used for a good purpose and not gambled. As you know, I never spend money in pubs (I spend Sparky's) and am always as sober as a judge, and I have invested my virtual loot wisely, so I can afford to help people. I will in future draw the line at helping people who would gamble their money away with no concern for their pet.

Re: Should begging be banned?
I am undecided as to whether you leapt to my defence there, Lettie.

Re: Should begging be banned?
Well said lettie.......I have been helped and was prepared to help out someone else.... but with the understanding that they would act resposibly towards their pet. I think if people cannot be responsible and look after the well being of their pet then they should not be allowed to adopt again.

Re: Should begging be banned?
Cheeky impatient little scumbags...................... ban em ROY
One individual is claiming he wants to care for his pooch then gambles it in arena, or begs to heal his pet after he has been stupid enough to fight a tougher dog...
I am doing my bit by every time he comes in arena...........kick him out

Is this true Smiffy, I was going to donate a bit more to your cause but now I not, infact I intend to take you to court to return my 12k.

Re: Should begging be banned?
No I'm sure simon isn't talking about me as I never gamble my money to fight in the arena I fight for 0, just friendly fights.

Re: Should begging be banned?
I would much rather give someone money than see a pet starving but if they didn't feed the poor thing and just use the money to gamble I'd be very miffed. I haven't had any begging letters yet - maybe word has got round that I'm stingy.

He didn't borrow the money he begged for it, ok he asked for a donation to be truthful as I had lots of spare cash at the time.
