Famous Accringtonian - Sir Kenneth Barnes

In today's issue of The Times is an obituary of Sir Kenneth Barnes. I haven't seen it and I don't know all that much about him. He was an old boy of Accrington Grammar School, a top civil servant. His dad was a scrap metal dealer in Church in the 30s.
