I used to have a lot of respect for you Garinda but recently you have struck me as someone no better than the likes of me, who just posts abusive tripe in order to get a reaction. At least I admittedly do it for entertainment and I'm a young idiot, but you should surely have better things to do than act like a teenage girl trying to stir the *ahem*

Miss, Miss! Please may I make a few derogatory remarks?
Firstly I agree with the fact that you are young, (not derogatory), however, you don't do it for entertainment it comes natural to you, (getting derogatory), please do not aspire to being an idiot, I hate to see someone like you with ambitions to be something on a level that you will never achieve, stick to being a person who's wit has often been overestimated by 50%.

Er...doesn't seem like tripe to me. Quiet a straight forward observation of the facts.
Just pointing out that most Accy Web threads now appear on Twitter, and asked what other people thought of it.
It's called a discussion.
My only personal comments were that Twitter now seemed a little passé. Mainly being used by the middle-aged, as verified by the supplied links from the press, and not very popular with the young movers and shakers in our society.

Nearly everything we post and say is now being copied to Twitter.
Personally I would have liked to have been asked if my posts could be duplicated on another site.
Anyone else any thoughts?
Can we ask who's doing it?
|
As for asking if I'm 'embarrassed', the answer is no.
I've never been embarrassed by anything I've ever posted on here. Mainly because I think what I'm going to post, before actually doing it. Or put it another way...think, before I open my virtual gob. Unlike some.
That you say you once had 'respect' for me, I find a little frightening.
That this is apparently no longer the case, I see as a positive step forward.
At least I'm doing something right.
Now, you've had your little paddy, what do you think of Twitter?
I'd have thought it right up your prematurely old fogeyish street, and you'd love the banality of it all. Given the constraints of posting something short, and hopefully enlightening, and judging by the fact you once sent me a message, saying you were having an apple, and were planning to have sausages for tea later.
Do you have a Twitter account?
It might be worth a read, the next time I can't sleep.
By the way, what did you have for tea tonight?
I'm sure the world and his wife would love to know...not!

I don't really care, although if given a choice, I'd prefer my words not to be copied and pasted there by someone, because like I've said, I think it's all a bit naff.
People that posts for sale items on Accy Web, have had their ads put on there too, some with phone numbers, which I personally think is a bit dodgy, unless they've given their permission.

Re: Accy Web Twits.
Didn't have much of a positive response from Accy Web members a year ago.

...and that's when it was still a bit cool.

I'm touched that you remember these things, as I don't. But I suppose banality must be of prime importance when you spend all your life sat on accyweb, alone, and hoping that someone will care about whatever trouble you are trying to cause this time.
You know, I really feel sorry for you. The difference between you and me is that I post the comments, but you are the one who remembers then months and months afterwards. Haven't you got anything better to spend your time doing?
I have a twitter account that I have never used. I signed up for it because I thought more of my friends would use it but they don't, and so I don't use it.
At the end of the day, every single post comes up in Google, so what is the big fuss about a Twitter account in the site's name that posts up those links?

There's no 'fuss', only from you.
A statement was made, and comments solicited.
As posted, it's what's called a discussion, or debate.
As for having a good memory, it's a cross I have to bear.
Although I do take some comfort in knowing I've probably forgotton more than you'll ever know.
As for Twitter, as well as being passé, I find the posts more than banal. Which is down to the limits on characters used, and the sort of characters using it.
Now go and finish your apple, and don't choke on the pips.

Re: Accy Web Twits.
I don't do twitter personally but I know when I have googled stuff mentioned on AccyWeb before Google often points straight back to posts on here. I don't see a difference really.
Any posts you make are in the public domain any way. By having comments echoed to twitter it might even bring in new members. We could do with so new ones as a lot of the old ones are getting boring

Now that, isn't the Conspiracy, my thought is, why when Glynneweb obviously is attempting to argue with me, hasn't my best pal come on and added anything in an attempt to prove it was me that was wrong all along?
Surely there couldn't be someone on here with two user names, I certainly hope not.

OK Grandad, I'll answer that.
I don't post at the current time by choice.
I am registered once and once only.
It is time you went back to the drawing board and ask yourself why you feel
anyone who takes issue with you is a threat?
