I only used IE when I really have to - like at work and I hate it.

I do use Firefox. To me it is the only browser. Sometimes need IE for active x support though

Re: firefox or Internet explorer?

IE because I like to see the www just the same as 80% - 90% of other people see it. Not interested in what 10% of propeller heads see

FireFox all the way. I know there are supposedly some sites that are designed narrow-mindedly and can only be viewed through IE, but I haven't seen them. Last time I used IE was today, when I was directed to a game site and it wouldn't work. IE didn't like it either.

Firefox won't work in conjunction with my uni's net settings. I thought I'd be more bothered but IE has stepped up it's game and it works just fine most of the time

You know what I mean.
I occasionally had to switch over to IE when I was using FireFox 1, but not since I upgraded to FF2 and then FF3.

I wonder if it's because FF had been modified to tolerate the slip in standards from some website developers, or because those developers have realised that there's a standard out there, and started adhering to it...

I got into FireFox for its tabbed browsing, and got addicted to it before it became a feature available in IE.
