MSN Closing

Read elsewhere that MSN are shutting operations down and passing their groups on to another company. Although not a big user of MSN do use it occassionaly. Anybody else heard about this?

Re: MSN Closing

Apparently they are closing on Feb 21st 2009 and going to be sending e-mails out shortly inviting groups to join elsewhere. Check out the alternative at hhtp://Multiply.com, is the info I have.

Every now and then similar stuff is rumoured, its going to close or it’s going to charge for messenger usage etc.

Not heard anything myself, until an official announcement is made just ignore it.

Re: MSN Closing

Its definitely a hoax. Why on earth would Microsoft get rid of something that must earn them a fortune in ad revenue and gets their name across. :P
