I attended Church Kirk school until 1958 and was always intrigued and still am by the house that was attached to the school that always seemed occupied by one large family or another.Does anyone have any information abut this large house and what was its purpose?

Might have been the school masters house. The Salmon family lived in it when I was at Church Kirk school 1949 -1954. Geoff and Peter Salmon also attended the school. Sadly geoff passed away in Australia a long time ago
