Sorry Higher Hey is 700 yrds South East, of height Cottages.
Higher Hey which is the 2nd oldest property in Accrington, is also cut off by the Bypass now.

Just before you get to the bypass, take a right, keep walking and it takes you round & back down and they are there (IMO), Im In the right area. IIRC there is a gate blocking the path and it used to have a very large dog loose.
