Exclamation Blackburn Road Gap

Has anyone else noticed a gap in the terrace on Blackburn Road, opposite Platts club? It used to be covered up but now you can see a ginnel between the properties.

Re: Blackburn Road Gap

Can't say I noticed today but I shall have a look in the morning as we go past there. Is it before or after Willows Lane?

I'll try to remember to look tomorrow. I did actually come past there this afternoon on a bus but I was probably talking to somebody at the time and not looking outside.

While you have the picture out A-B why not see if you can make that guys number plate a bit clearer, because that position must be one of the most popular spots for illegal parking which makes it very difficult to get around on Blackburn Rd!

Re: Blackburn Road Gap

Thats the place. I`ve only recently noticed it, so it must have been fully boarded up before now. You can see the roofline on the next block is quite a bit higher.. I wonder why?

>> I wonder why?<<

The block that has it's junction with Willows Lane is of earlier construction than the adjoining block? just guessing.

Re: Blackburn Road Gap

It's not actually one terrace. It's two. They were built from opposite directions and where they don't meet is where the gap or ginnel is.
