nah cherokee the "Plod" were on Shanks Pony in Dixon.

it ran from 55- 76 cherokee, which suprised me, thought it finished before then. still ranks as the longest running cop series. says the web site.

You've surprised me there , I would have said it finished in the early 60s when Z-cars started ,
