Hapton Castle

Hi folks .......anyone know if theres any evidence of hapton castle left or has it been built over ?

Saw a reference to it on the net and wondered

Certainley hasn't been built over. Like Cashy's article states there are a few bits of stonework left but nothing readily identifiable. It is located within a small woodland and the area is overgrown. If you were going to look for it then now would be the time before the spring growth comes through.
