If Nat West was the one opposite the Town Hall, then yes it was.

Sorry mate, I only took the close up, you will just have to take my word for it that it is where I say it is. If I find myself in that neck of the woods in the next few days I will do the full 'photo essay' thing.

Go on...do it while the light's still available. You can be there and back in 20 minutes...you only need to visit the top of Foxhill Bank Brow

Here you are then, I walked all the way to Ossy from Huncoat this morning just to get these pics.

The first one contains the image of a vagrant in the foreground who would not go away no matter how abusive I was. I don't think he had seen a camera before.

Image no.4 is the bank at Foxhill Bank Brow, please not the date stone reads 1900.

Oh Great! you go to the trouble of loading them all in order and the bloody upload programme jumbles them all up again, triffic! As you are looking at them from left to right the first one is Foxhill Bank Brow, the third one is the overall scene and no.s 2 and 4 are close ups.

Re: I know where that is, it's......?

It's a wonder we didn't bump into each other A-b because I also went up there taking photos! Hang on a minute and I'll post mine! Just need to shrink em a bit first.

I think it was the old Nat West because I think the Foxhill one was the other one but if anyone knows any better I'll be happy to be corrected.

I think what confused certain persons not a million miles from this thread is the fact that although the front of the building is made of dressed stone, the rear is red brick.
