Killer!

OK, this is one for the super sleuths amongst you.

The only clue you get is that it is in Accrington. Where is it, and What is it?

If you crack it before the end of October it is worth TEN Coconuts

At a guess...a mounting for a toll bar. Location.....Manchester Road?

I'd say it was a mounting block for Hydrant Plate or some other notice from the Urban District Council days. I'm not sure of the area, but I feel that I have seen this before so I look forward to your confirmation of a location.
