Mind Boggling incompetence.

Just filled in the service details for a WW1 soldier age 22 years who lived in Altham.
Called up for service in 1917, discharged K.R. 392 para (xvi) [unfit for military service] 61 days later, given 7-10s and sent home.
Real reason for discharge, loss of left arm when he was 14 years old.
Sixty one days to find him unfit, that should have been recorded when he was examind by a local doctor at his attestation.
