Pride in Accrington

Just had a call from Radio Lancashire. I am being interviewed live on air at 9.20am today about home-town pride. They cut it a bit fine

Well done Bob, specially at such short notice. I heard most of it, in between the radio cutting out several times.

I once had a similar experience - years ago our local radio station rang and asked me for some comments then and there, live on air. I was frying sausages for tea at the time and the whole interview sounded like a 78 rpm record complete with hiss!
