I was just going to question all those folds Katex and Retlaw, cos I certainly havent heard off them, not that means owt, cos in this game "local history" you are learning ALL THE TIME! Would love to know where you found all that info though Katex?

You never will hear of them, because she made them up.
She only got two of them, the other names she put in her list are streets, she was just being daft with them, none of them are old or were even in existence in those days to have been a Fold.
Folds date back to the 17th & 18th century.

He is correct Atarah ... did make them up, however, he did state in an earlier post was going to put up more folds, so seemed to be the best place to start on street names around his area .. was lucky to hit on one. Started to google, lo and behold .. up popped Black Abbey Fold and that article.

Right Bluebell you've asked for itwhen you've answered puzzle 3, the next one you won't be able to goggle it. Thats cheating and being lazy, back when I was collecting all these pictures, the only computer available was a Z81, and my first calculator was from Sinclair build it yourself.

Yes, was the absent voters list ... what I did by mistake was read along the incorrect line though and it was a John Beasley ... guess I'm a skenning bat too ......
