Photo Number Five--The man on the far right is definately my late brother Bryan Procter. He was an Iron Moulder who served his time at Bulloughs. His wife still lives in Clayton

Further to my reply yesterday--I think photo number 5 dates to about 1955 or thereabouts

Re: Raistricks Foundry

Hi! I've been doing some family research and in my searching I came across this forum! I was so excited to see these pictures, it's something I've never seen before! My uncle is in the group picture. My uncle Jim (James), from the right he is the 2nd one standing. My grandad, George Raistrick owned that foundry after his dad. Thanks a lot for giving me a glimpse into something I've only heard about!

Re: Raistricks Foundry

Really?? My grandmothers name was Alice Raistrick, not sure if that's the Mrs. Raistrick you are referring too but she was married to my grandfather George Raistrick who owned the foundry. :-). Not sure of the street they lived on, but I will definitly check with my dad!
