I thought I'd read several weeks ago that objections were overturned and the planners had now decided to demolish. I suppose the only question now remaining is which will go down first - the building or the football club a mile or so south.

The road is going ahead, even if it was saved and renovated who would want it, surrounded by druggies and prostitutes, no parking and hundreds of empty offices in far nicer locations !

Lets be honest, i'm all fer saving good buildings wi character, but this "Thing" is ugly,its the pits, the area its in is worse, who ever actually listed that thing,musta either been pished, on drugs, or a backhander.
