Tunnels

I have just been reading the posts mitchells started about tunnels and abbeys(and nearly in the area of black abbey st) I had worked at the old lightbowns toffee works in back adelaide st when Brown and catlow's bought it (1960) and from the toffee works a mostly stone tunnel ran underneath to the building at the other side of the Hargreaves arms and it was securicor then but the interesting part was there was access to all the buildings through this tunnel until securicor move in what would that have been all about then? we did not know
