Hermon Ashworth. Pte. 55986. R.W.F. lived at,
31 Wilfred St Accrington.
There were all sorts of abreviations during the war.
W.F. Western Front.
E.F. Eastern Front.
B.E.F. British Expeditionary Force.
M.E.F. Mediteranian Expeditionary Force.
C.E.F. Canadian Expeditionary Force.
A.E.F. Australian Expeditionary Force
N.Z.E.F. New Zealand Expeditionary Force.
In your case the W.F. is Welsh Fusiliers.
