Sorry, but I was a bit powfagged when I came home.
The display is on two sides of the upper corridor, the left side shows my collection of 2 1/2 thousand thumbnail pictures of Greater Accrinton men, & women who served in WW1, follwed by the Accrington Pals, then on the right hand side is a series of pictures taken at different times between
1915 & 1918.

Re: WW1 Display
I'll try and get over for this. I was in town on Weds and I was over in Blackburn today. Don't get long on the ground but it will be worth the trip. Thanks Retlaw.
P.S. of the 21/2 Thousand Accrington men; do you have any Douglas's?

Never found any pics of men by the name of Douglas. The display is of Greater Accrington men & women. Greater Accrington then covered the same area as Hyndburn does today.

Something on the Telegraph website, though the reporter should have proof read before publishing

Re: WW1 Display
Can Walter help me with this?
This chap has cropped up in my family tree, he married my great-great aunt in 1919.
He was Hermon Ashworth and was in the "W.F." during WW1. Tried looking up WF but got nowhere. Can you tell me what it stands for and have you any info on Hermon?
Cheers,
Steve
