Forgot to add -well done for today then Rindy. I knew the one I got wrong too as i'd seen it before and got it wrong then too.

Will never learn.

I like a glass of cider too , never tried it hot though...

Well I was only there for a year, at University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. It did once help me win a pub quiz in Cornwall where the tiebreak question was which US university's football team is called the Tarheels? Answer, UNC Chapel Hill!

Found out recently that my housemate while I was there went on to marry Senator John Edwards who was running for president a few years ago till she developed cancer and he puuled out. She died last year and cut him out of her will because he had an affair.

Can't say that my US sojourn helps much with the quiz - still find the US mindset hard to fathom.

I remember reading about some of the people you met quizzing, did you say you'd met Daphne Fowler?

Her range of knowledge seems vast.

What do you make of her?

She comes across as quite nice on TV, and even when she doesn't know the answer she's a good guesser (just like some of the quizzers on here!!)

Some of the pro quizzers on The Chase are impressive (and fast) especially the one they call...."The Beast"

She does.

She seems really lovely, and is certainly not a show off.

Might all be an act.

She might be a real diva, once the cameras stop rolling.

Think it was Fifteen to One, I first saw her.
