I had written Colcannon originally but was with my friend Charlottte who lives in Belfast and she said that the presence of spring onions (garnish) meant it could only be Champ!
(Went to visit her there 2 yrs ago and went to their local Tescos -they had the biggest selection of different potatoes that I had ever seen in my life! )

Yes can see the spring onions but the lumps in the actual dish look bigger, more like cabbage/kale. Champ is only supposed to have the onions isn't it?
BTW I make the Scottish version which is called rumbledethumps - potato, leek and cabbage. Yummy!

Anyway,... 22 is moussaka from Greece. And I'm sure I'm not the only one to look for a little help in these matters.
What else is there to do on a Saturday afternoon?

Yes, had the original answer as Belgium, but after doing a little googling myself, was attributed to both Belgium and Northern France, so gave it to Jedimaster to save any arguments..

All incorrect.
As for googling ...it's just research 'innit, and this is how most of us expand our knowledge.

Clever girl ...did overstep the rules, but do I care anymore ? Just a bit of fun.
I'm hungry too ... but will stick with boiled pearled baby potatoes (smothered in Anchor Butter), gammon (from my local butcher) and butter beans, for tonight's dinner.

Re: Foreign Foods Quiz.
Am really P***ded off about Colcannon as it's what I'd written then edited as my friend who lives out there convinced me it was Champ --just goes to show -never truat a friend!
