I thought you were taking the widdle, the only Desert rose I could think of was a tube banged into the ground that we used to use for taking a piddle into when we were out in the Desert.

We did that on Earthing Rods for mobile radar cabins, if it wasn't done often enough you could get the most agonising elerctric shock when you did go for a leak
