A workshop in the Market

Hi, didnt know owt about this. Must go down later and have a nosey.

Anne Haworth’s Fan

http://annehaworthsfan.wordpress.com/ - according to this, I cant see anything "on" after todays date. (would appear its all now "history", but still an interesting site to look at).

Interesting to know about the old blocks (probably from Broad Oak Printworks) that are up the Haworth. Wonder why they arent on permanent display?

Re: A workshop in the Market

How can an artist afford the rent? - no doubt she isn't paying any.
I suppose it is a useful way of filling an empty stall, but
...it is a Market Hall, not a cultural venue.
I don't agree with the attempt to combine the two uses.

Re: A workshop in the Market

We may well end up with a new Arts Centre instead of a Market Hall.
Then even fewer footfalls will upset the cafe owner upstairs
