Take a look under Community/Social Groups/Gardening for 2010 it may be of interest to you and you can discuss your idea with similar minded people.

In there or on here, but a few more details might attract a few extra folk if they have an idea of where this is leading.

Such as, who is offering the land & where it is, any examples of similar schemes you might know about.

Re: community garden

I am interested to know more.

Are you on your own or a member of a group?

If a group what is its name and where are you based?
or
If not a group are you looking at forming a group?

Do you already have some land for this garden or are you looking for somewhere?

Re: community garden

Ian used to be in a scheme like this, it was based just off Plantation Street. Could possibly be the same one or something very similar

Re: community garden

I would suggest contacting Prospects Foundation if you are thinking about a community garden and growing your own,as they have a local project to push this type of idea forward.
This is one reason for setting up One Planet Co-op so that people can find out about help and advice for schemes such as this.
