Tonight, I have had dropped through my letter box a small publication aimed at the people of Gt Harwood, Rishton and Clayton. It apparently is issued fortnightly.
Although full of local adverts, I find the limited editorial with its letters, articles and puzzles extremely readable. Nothing particularly new; even has its answer to the Observers 'Mr Angry' under the heading of 'Grumpy Gits', tonight attacking the lack of spelling and grammar in University students, but in a much more interesting format. There is no clue to who is writing these articles, but offer my congratulations and look forward to the next issue. Anybody know ?? Last edited by katex; 28-03-2006 at 21:20. |
