Re: Planning Applications
Bridge that gap. Looks like this has been applied for in the past, but time was running out for the applicant.

Good to see that one cricket team are still solvent enough to provide better changing facilities :

He is blocking access to the allotment car park, so people are parking on the road, which doesn't leave enough space for him to reverse back out when he has finished - oh dear!

That's why I moved my car from the road frontage at weekend.
That driver managed (carefully) to make his exit just before 7pm.
The work going on is interesting to watch from my 1st floor vantage point.
This late delivery didn't 'disturb my peace' - it would be nice if they took a longer lunch break because I am missing my midday nap, but it is good to see sports facilities being improved.

Can I just say I found this comment rather interesting. The Grimshaw mentioned used to live in Owl Hall! This architects was originally on Willow Street, almost facing the steps of the Mechanics Institute, now the Registrars.
(and ... not too sure on this, but will check, think the Townsend was connected to Joan Pompret, the poet who lived at the house known as Stoops, near Harwood Bar in Great Harwood). The Townsend certainly wrote books on FISHING, cos I have a copy of one, thanks to Bob Dobson).
