Exactly, Neil, some folks seem to think they can do what they wish.
Perhaps the tenant could ask for a reduction in their rent, as and when the council move in with the bulldozers.. LOL.

Old fashioned drawings produced on the drawing board, have a good idea who has drawn them

Can't see anything, Park, however may be missing it and the new format only goes back to October, 2010 and a bit laborious to go back further. As you know, PP can hold for 3 years.
Do you think they would have needed it then ? No. 172 I presume.

The bungalow is right next to the "new car wash" they share they same boundary, but I think the front door of the bungalow is on Buttermere Drive. They have installed double gates to the boundary wall on Blackburn road and a driveway up to the house, vehicles will have to mount the curb to access the new drive, that is unless there are plans to drop the footpath to allow vehicle entry. Yes 172 it is (missed that bit off)

Re: Planning Applications
This is a strange one, 3 applications for 172 Blackburn road
2 x in 1975 for the land at the rear of 172
1 x in 1989 for a new "shop front" at 172
