The problem with supermarket petrol is that you don't always know where it's come from. I twice filled up at Asda Accrington recently, and my car was sluggish. Performance changed and improved again when I went back to Texaco or Shell etc...

Know what you mean, will not use Asda, Tesco or any of the other supermarkets if I do the engine runs as if there is a bag of nuts & bolts banging about in there

Their petrol is cheap for a very good reason, simples really you get what you pay for.
