I've cast a fly upon the water occasionally and managed to deceive the odd trout or two.

I haven't been for a while (approx 18 months) but I've fished Pine Lodge, Mirewater, Barnsfold, Wyreside, Loveclough, Roughlee, to name a few.

You Fished A Few Then, Dont Like Pine Lodge Never Fished Mirewater, Fished Barnsfold And Roughlee And Used To Own Loveclough. You Ever Fished Raygill Or Penine

I fished Raygill once about 7 or 8 years ago, it was the only place open, everywhere else was frozen up. Never fished Pennine, doesn't appeal to me.

I tried the river at Mitton bridge a few times over the years, never had owt yet though.

love the ART just waiting to get my new license for migratory and non-migratory,i fancy having a do on the river this year getting fed up of fishing the fish bowls,not the same anymore they just stock with overfed heavey weights that cant swim out of the way of your fly.
