just heard about the passing of the former burnley player and manager jimmy adamson,a credit to the game and unfortunate never to play for his country, R i p to a true gentleman

he was from the era when players didnt think they were Gods,,,He was such a nice man,,as were all the team in those days,,,R I P ,,,,

There were a few good eggs who played for Burnley in those days cashy Andy Lochhead, and Willie Irvine, who I got to know on a personal level in later years were both top blokes

A great Burnley stalwart, one of the best during the late 50s and early 60s and part of what was Burnleys best ever squad. R.I.P.
