Re: Accrington on Newsnight now
He probably went off to watch Newsnight. My other half was probably watching it, he usually does. I'll let him enlighten me when he brings my cocoa.

Well he watched it but as he's not an Accringtonian and wears blinkers every time we go there, he couldn't tell me much. Something about benefits, bedroom tax and the Budget, he said.
I'll have to watch it myself tomorrow when it comes online.
Far more important now, I've got my cocoa to drink.

Re: Accrington on Newsnight now
If the programme was as bad as it could be, then Wadey will have topped himself. I hope he's left me his photos.

Re: Accrington on Newsnight now
I watched it, it was on News night.
I didn't remember Accrington having no roads or streets- just back alleys between old terraced house yards with hoodies stood looking down them.
Well, that's mostly what they showed- I'm sure they do it on purpose.

That's what my other half said - all back alleys, seems to be Accy's signature.

Newsnight is more current affairs than a breaking news programme. They will have filmed in Accy days ago.
