Now I reckon there should be a new Liverpool soap called "Dockside" ha ha ha!

Re: Brookside to be brought back?
They've been re-showing "The Boys from the black stuff" just recently, that is an out & out Liverpool setting no doubts about that.

Re: Brookside to be brought back?
The opening plot is simple.
A new family moved into a house, started remodelling and dug up the patio only to find a body underneath it.
Take it from there..

What about : Jimmy Corkhill wins Euro Millions and buys back the close and starts renting it out to new tenants that is how it starts - then they find some people burried in the back gardens! How about that
P.S. Jaysay has got the role of the new Harry Cross

'Brookside Close was eventually sold off in 2005 to a developer who then stripped, gutted and effectively rebuilt the entire interior of each of the 13 houses before making them available for sale to the public in January 2007.'

Perhaps Channel 4 should get Tony Robinson in, for a Time Team special dig.

If I'd have been any good at acting I'd have been in Hollywood, not knocking nails in for a living

Brookside - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Yeh I know it was sold - so the plot is Jimi Corkhill wins 180 Million on Euro Millions and decides to re build a close almost identical to Brookside with his millions and then he starts renting them out to the new characters - bla bla!
Then it turns out the land he bought was an ancient Bronze age burial site and they all get haunted and they have to call in an excorcist and in comes The Time Team to dig it all up etc etc!
OK Jaysay your nowt like Harry Cross and you don't even know who he is - what role would you like? Let me know... Cheers!
