Watched that TV remake of the 39 Steps last night, with that Rupert Parry whats is face from Spooks playing Richard Hannay, was quite good and the Scottish scenery was great too

Recorded that.

I bet it isn't as good as either the 1935 (Peggy Ashcroft as the crofter's wife), or the '59 film with Kenneth Moore.

I can never take Rupert Penry-Jones seriously as a lead, knowing his mum is Marjery Frobisher from To the Manor Born.

Give her a chance, she has the baby blues.

You don't sake that off for at least a decade, and no way would she use that as an excuse.
