and very true katex,

I still have a photo with me and the other woman on it and I am wearing the same sweater which gave me away for sure when the episode was shown.

I just spoke to my wife, a rare event and she says the plumber was a Len Fairclough and the mate was Gerry Booth, strange how women remember all the soap episodes. My old girl was Sylvia and the other Kathy, strange how men always remember the women.

By the way my wife (number two) wasn't either of the girls in the above post.

Re: Coronation Street tram crash

Its interesting to compare the 2010 tram crash with the 1967 train crash in the same spot.

1967:-

2010:-

Do you think the budget might have increased?

I do have some standards. I don't think I've seen an episode of Emmerdale Farm in the last 20 years.
Well that figures gynn, its been just Emerdale (stopped pushing hands up cows backsides) for about 20 years

I think its called dramatic licence.
Is my memory playing tricks,,but i am sure Steve McDonald had a baby with hairdresser Fiona
I remember not liking the baby,s name "Morgan"no one ever mentions that,,,or the fact that Michelle had a son swapped at birth,,,has she cut off all ties with him?

Re: Coronation Street tram crash

Friday nights episode was a real tear jerker, and was excellently done. Especially Tyrone's gradual realisation at the graveside that baby Jack's real father was Kevin.

'It's you, isn't it? It is, it's YOU!'

Terrific stuff, and wonderfully acted.
