Funny what frightens you when you are young -it was the Daleks for me -but if I see them now they are quite laughable!
Was also a fan of Star-trek and some of the alien beings were pretty nasty too...

The Borg are nasty, and they play a mean game of tennis too.

Didn't find anything scary about Dr. Who ... However, "Journey into Space" was real scary ... and on tv, "Quatermass ll" and "Quatermass and the Pit"

There must be something missing in my make-up. I didn't/don't find any of these remotely scary, horror and SF leave me quite cold, and I don't mean in a shivery spooky sense!

Re: Favourite Dr Who Alien or Monster
Come to think of it, the Quatermass thing came up in an episode of "Hancock's Half Hour" ... I think it was the one where they found an unexploded bomb in the garden at 23 Railway Cuttings, East Cheam. Loved that show. But it wasn't all that scary
