Florizel Street, coming to your TV screens, maybe

Those of us who can remember the first episode of Corry back in 1961, may also remember that Coronation Street wasn't the original title. The original title was going to be Florizel Street, but was changed at the last minute. It appears that Granada are toying with the idea for maybe bringing Florizel Street to life. They are embarking on a project first in still photos then maybe, just maybe bringing it to life, my other half, who most of you know works as a TV extra and Chaperone is attending a photo shot on Monday and will be taking the part of Martha Longhurst originally played by Lynne Carol, so this weekend it with morning Martha care for a milk stout downt Rovers at din dins

The first episode is available to see on YouTube and is gripping stuff. Whatever is said about soaps, it's a fine example of showing how we used to live.
