Really? and how so that? From a chuck away comment I'm now a raving deviant? Primitively distasteful? My aren't we the leader of morality all of a sudden, I vaguely recall some time back a venture into the now defunct AW chat room, it was probably my initial foray & I must admit to some surprise at the graphic & open nature of topics discussed, (quite a novelty after forming opinions of folk from their day to day postings) & there was someone giving it large on topics sexual as I recall, tsk, tsk, my dear mags (Cashy, Spugs & Shill were also present as I recall).
Stones & glass houses my dear, stones & glass houses.

I only once ventured into the chat room and didn't discuss sex. I find quick typing impossible due to my disabled hands. I think you are mistaking me for a young woman who attended Lancaster UNI, who was notorious for her chatroom frankness.

I don't believe so Mags, maybe some of the others mentioned may remember the evening. Memory can be so selective I know & perhaps I'm wrong (although I honestly don't think so). Like I said I was quite surprised by the contributors contributions which is why I recalled the event.

Re: Game of thrones (HBOS)
I formed my opinion of you from the suggestive innuendo you used in this thread
http://www.accringtonweb.com/forum/f...oom-59527.html
It was in 'over 18's - but that isn't to say that I found it an acceptable way to converse with a young woman you have never met - just my opinion - take it or leave it.

Don't worry about it Dave, there are enough gentlemen that remember what some ladies were like until they found purity.
I personally don't believe a word of it!
Tsk, distasteful!

I have admitted that I was promiscuous for a short time following the breakdown of my 2nd marriage. I understand why I was like that and expressed regret (my blog - now deleted). I have never indulged in porn, nor have I ever expressed approval of it. It is denegration of women to be useful chattels for male satisfaction. ie. a tool to combat impotence.

So that's your case? Some innuendo! What a stifled World you live in Mags, it's no worse than what is readily available from re-runs of Benny hill or the Carry on crowd. I suggest you don't plan a future in law, especially a prosecution lawyer, you'd not make very much. Case dismissed.

Didn't read your blog, wasn't and still am not that interested in your past.
Just wonder, how can someone that puts the above out on the web about themselves, has the right to criticize anyone or anything?

It was expressed to friends only in order to explain the immoral behaviour. It is difficult to explain what effects living with a narcissistic psycho does to you after you have been told you are worthless and undesirable for 8 years.
I needed to prove to myself that I was still 'desirable'.
I regret that I felt the need to do that - now I don't give a d....

For which they volunteer & are well paid! Most of the girls involved have made a conscious choice to take up the profession. Just because you can't agree with their career choice does that make them any less worthwhile? they're working, probably juggling their lives & making a contribution to the governments coffers.
So Sugarmouse who dances tables for a living should be condoned for her life choice? Well, after all, following your thinking it's only a step away from performing lewdness for a camera!
Gawd, it must be difficult being so pristine & sanctimonious.

I don't feel any guilt - it was just a life experience that needed to happen.
Ps my blog didn't include any lurid detail.

Well, good, you don't feel guilty about your natural urges but do often condemn others for having theirs.
Already said haven't read your blog.

Re: Game of thrones (HBOS)
Blimey, Dave ! Think you are a bit over the top with your description of this series. Not half as bad as you have painted.
My son introduced me to the books a couple of years ago, and have read nearly all of them.
I don't have Sky, but son had the DVD's of the 1st series and watched them back-to-back. They have got the characters just right but, of course, never as good as the books. Loads missed out.
I'm definitely hooked.

Shocking, absolutely shocking, gratuitous & lascivious, debauchery, incest, homosexuality & posseltutes, nudity for the sake of it & the language, even as an ex-Squaddie it made my ears turn pink! Not your average Saturday afternoon family viewing with Gran or the Parents by any stretch of the imagination.
It's proper train crash viewing & morbid curiosity will keep pulling you back in to watch it, the rise & fall of great families, their desire & ambition for riches, putting it about with all & sundry, domination, death & destruction most horrible & violent, the right to rule. I sat & watched 5 episodes of series 2 yesterday evening. If you don't mind the disgustingnessness mentioned above & you enjoy your swords & sorcery (& can cope with bits flaccidly flopping about blokeys & wimmins) well worth a watch, but don't come back here all offended if it upsets your sensibilities, you were warned!

It's been absolutely riveting and a never miss for me for all three series. I'm biased..I'm a swords and sorcery nutjob and love this kinda stuff.
Yeah there's nudity, and violence...In my opinion its part of the tapestry of the story. Death aint clean and pretty a la Richard Greene and Errol Flynn, getting hit with a sword does not result in a pinprick of blood appearing on your chest, nor, I imagine, would a bloke who is probably about to die give his missus a quick peck on the cheek before wrapping his bright colourful blanket around him and falling asleep.
It's a great story, with rich characters, goodies with faults and foibles who sometimes do bad things, baddies with humanity and honour who sometimes do good things, the main actors actually die without warning. It has great shock value, whether its the nudity, the violence or the sudden twist in the tale and I'm literally drooling in anticipation for series 4 next year.
You know its funny how a few boobs and bums on TV has the rent-a-feminist brigade screaming exploitation, yet the sado-masochistic puerile nonsense of 50 shades of grey was lauded as liberating to women...go figure
