I'll summarise, for our Italian brethern.

Give, give, give.

If you're Greek, there are over 800 professions deemed as dangerous.

Everything from hairdressers, bakers, radio announcers, taxi drivers, and musicans.

Any of the people who do one of those many professions, basically everyone, can retire at 51, and get a pension of 95% of their final salary.

Bus drivers earn double the average wage, plus bonuses worth thousands per year if they arrive at work on time, and/or check tickets.

High earners, the example was a surgeon, basically don't pay any tax in Greece at all.

No, sadly I'd have to label it as a British farce.

Seeing as we funded the whole sorry production.

All this give, give, give business - I'll be in debt for the rest of my life -and I don't have a Greek pension...However can i repay you?

I accept plants, and interesting, thoughtful books, if pushed.

Though am alway happier give, give, giving, than receiving.

Like my Nana (Mouskouri) used to say to me, beware of Greeks bearing gifts.
