I watched Saw last night on TV ... didn't understand it at all ... mind you, missed first 20 minutes .. Didn't find scary though, except when he was cutting his own leg off .. cringed a bit ...

I'm with Egg and Chips on the Edgar Allen Poe films with Vincent Price, only film I walked out of once .. was probably 19 at the time, but just had to bolt.

I had to leave my cinema seat during the restaurant scene in Monty Python's Meaning of Life (Hughie big style)

Nightmare on elm street used to be really scary to me when i was younger. I would still watch them over and over again now though.

Good old Eggar Alan Poe, remember seeing that at the Palace in Rhyddings street, when I was about 12, I think it was a double with The Raven

Re: Halloween Horror............

the bit in pet semetary where Gage slices the back of Juds ankle... nasty
everyone knows this is the best thing to come out of pet semetary though

but my favourites are:
Night of the living dead
Psycho
The texas chainsaw massacre
the original versions of course
