Good one Less

Not really surprised, definitely past it's sell by date & last time I looked it bore no comparison with reality. Coppers were getting stuck in, no H&S "I aven't been assessed" crap & actually nicking people & getting them locked up !!

I haven't watched it for years either Dave, as you say too far fetched now, and the audience figures are down to 3.5 million which the advertisers don't like, end of

...but the good news is, come Good Friday, 'Ashes to Ashes' is back. A proper cop show - cracking heads, breaking down doors, asking questions later. None of this touchy-feely, ethnically aware, yummy-yummy gay, society-is-to-blame politically correct nonsense carried out by today’s cops and unfortunately reflected in current cop shows.

Cop shows have never been the same since George Dixon retired.

Aye, "Ashes to Ashes" is good. Those are the sort of Coppers you want if you're after getting a job done alongsides the likes of Jack Reagan & George Carter from "The Sweeny". Aye the epitome of proper Coppers.

If our modern day plods were more like the old time Coppers & with all the technical advances we've made in the last 20 odd years where in unison, the crime rate would be right down & Britain would be a better place.
