"Naffest" Royal Movie Ever Made

Apparently there is a new US drama film out about the courtship of Prince William and Kate Middleton. The Sky News reporter couldnt keep his face straight talking about it. It is full of every tired Hollywood cliche. Prince William's helicopter has been turned into something out of Top Gun with Tom Cruise, and the accents are laughable.

Looks hilarious, and will be on Channel 5 in the next couple of weeks.

Hollywood, doing Royalty?

Like no way!

Can't be as bad as 1982's The Royal Romance of Charles and Diana, starring Dynsaty's Catherine Oxenberg, who incidentally was Princess Elizabeth of Yugoslavia's daughter, and is distantly related to Prince Charles.

I think they dug up Florrie Lindley to play the Queen Mum.

Bette Davis gave a fair performance of Queen Bess, but that's about it.

Re: "Naffest" Royal Movie Ever Made

The problem with making a film about William and Catherine is that very little is known about how their relationship developed. They were at St Andrews University together and ......er thats about it. She is still a very two dimensional figure who will doubtless grow into a "personality" as the public gets to know her.

Call me a cynic, but how much of the "wedding" is down to William being told to get himself a wife to ensure the continuation of the Windsor line? After all, hes approaching 30 and still no heirs. Would he have looked at her twice if he had been plain Willie Windsor?

Probably like any other relationships really gynn

Boy meets Girl
Boy swaps spit with Girl
Boy swaps bodily fluids with girl
Boy Marries Girl
Boy mates with Girl
Boy becomes a dad girl becomes a mummy
Boy and Girl get fed up with each other
Boy and Girl split up

Who cares?

Guess you'll just have to tune in, and watch the forthcoming Hollywood film, to find out.
