New channel launched on freeview

I don't know if anybody will be interested, but a new channel has been launched on freeview. Challenge tv will show old quiz shows and gameshows as well as showing TNA wrestling shows TNA Impact!, TNA explosion and ppv such as lockdown and genesis. When your box is re-tuned, it will be on channel 46

It does look good jaysay, just browsed tv guide. The only downside I could see is its very similar to channel one, which is no longer broadcasting due to sky concentrating on the Living tv franchise, hence why bravo and bravo 2 where also axed.

Never watched Bravo, but occasionally watched Channel 1, but most of the programs on Channel 1 also appear on Living and Universal, so can't say I will miss them much

Sky Atlantic is advertised as Free to all Sky customers, but apparently it's only free for the first six months if you don't have the HD pack - time enough to hook you in a series.

Shame about Channel 1 - that new series of V was good. I suppose the new series of that'll be floating around on Sky Atlantic HD in a few months, scooping a few more pounds out of my pocket.

I don't think you can get it on ordinary Sky, I have HD in my living room but bog standard Sky in my bedroom and there is no channel 108 in the listings.

Sky in two rooms eh? Very swish

The blurb on Sky's own sites is a bit vague, but I've read on a few sites that it will be on Standard Def Sky on 108 too. Of course, internet information is often conjecture rather than fact so I could be wrong.

Swish not really, a necessity often outlined on this site, poor health, I checked the prog details on the standard set in the bedroom and there was nothing listed for channel 108 its just skipped

Yup - just done a switch on/off and it's on my Standard Def Sky now too. I'll see if I can confirm the six months only rumour...
