Public Enemies

There's a new film out today staring Johnnie Depp, as John Dillinger, Public Enemies, looks like a good flick

Interestingly enough, Cagney never actually used that line. It's one of those misquotes that has become part of folklore.

Ya heard that before TM, much in the way Beam me up Scotty was never used in Star Trek

Re: Public Enemies

I went to see this earlier today and it was ok. Nothing more and nothing less. It may appeal to some people, but there are holes all over the place in the film.... and I don't mean the ones from Michael Mann's shootout scenes.

Characters were massively under-developed, which meant that come the end of the film, I didn't really care what happened to them.
