Simon Pegg or Ricky Gervais
both guys are stating to get more media attention over here in the US , just wondering which actor Accy-web users prefer .
My own choice is Simon Pegg , had never heard of him until I picked up a DVD in the rental store ( the one where he plays a cop) seen two others since , all watchable . Hope he stays working in the UK and doesn't get taken in by the Hollywood hype . The Ricky Gervais type humour I can take or leave .

Re: Simon Pegg or Ricky Gervais
Simon Pegg.
Look forward to his latest offering, 'HOW TO LOSE FRIENDS & ALIENATE PEOPLE' based on columnist Toby Young's book about his own gaffs.
Not a big fan of Gervais, can take him or leave him

Re: Simon Pegg or Ricky Gervais
Ricky Gervais, as I found The Office and Extras hilarious.
Looking forward to Little Britain in the U.S., which we're getting tonight, just five days after it was aired in the States.

Re: Simon Pegg or Ricky Gervais
(thread wander) Little Britain is shown here on one of the pay/premium channels, not part of my standard 150+ channels, the reviews have been mixed , Americans seem to have an aversion/distate to seeing the 'dangly' bits of human anatomy on their TV screens

Re: Simon Pegg or Ricky Gervais
I prefer Ricky Gervais. Didn't see Extras but I loved The Office and his stand up routines have me in stitches.
Pegg bores me and the films he makes are all the same.

Re: Simon Pegg or Ricky Gervais
Simon Pegg for me. I simply don't "get" Gervais anyway but Pegg has been outstanding since "Spaced".

Don't much care for either really, but if I had to go for one it would be Ricky Gervais

He's already been in a couple of big Hollywood films as well - he was in Mission Impossible 3 as a scientist and he was in another one which I can't quite think of right now.

just watched it tonight on DVD and have to say a bit disappointed , typical Hollywood sanitized bland crap , his usual humour is dumbed down to try to appeal a US market of 300+ million , instead of his smaller British market to whom his humour appeals .
